Koenigsberg has released several albums as a leader on the Origin and Ninjazz record labels, and is presently developing new projects. He has written six books, including the third edition of Contemporary Songwriting with Ableton Live and GarageBand, to be published October 1, 2026, by Bloomsbury Academic. He is an associate professor of jazz piano at the University of Oregon, where he teaches courses in jazz and popular music. He regularly advises universities across the United States on curricular innovation in higher education. His music and expertise have been featured in The Times of London, All About Jazz, CNN, and elsewhere.
